Nieuwsbrief Juni/Juli 2006 NL

Beste mensen,

Met het festival seizoen die in volle gang is, het zonnetje dat volop schijnt, is het nog een paar repetities voor de zomerstop. Einde van het seizoen dus. Er zal rond de band niet veel meer gebeuren, maar gaan het nieuwe seizoen goed van start.
We beginnen eens een keer lekker aan de weg te timmeren dit keer. Samen met de Belgische band A Switch Below en Blackdown en met de Engelse band Bring out your Dead zetten we de COALITION TOUR 2006 op poten. Van 2 tot 10 september zullen we een Belgische / Nederlandse tour gaan doen. Goed nieuws dus!!

Reden genoeg om weer flink hard te oefenen om ons weer helemaal klaar te stomen. Onze setlist zal daarom nagenoeg hetzelfde zijn als in Odeon, speciaal voor jullie, de nummers die we de 28 ste speelden.

Een korte samenvatting van de 28ste, allereerst was het leuk om Marc Camps, onze oude gitarist weer eens te zien.
Ok, er waren wat geluidsprobleempjes op het podium waardoor Ries ons niet meer hoorde. We waren genoodzaakt onze versie van Slayers Rain in blood en Seasons in the Abyss te skippen. De volgende keer zit Slayer er weer gewoon bij, dus bereid je voor !!
Ook waren onze vrienden A Switch Below weer van de partij en gaven het startsein voor een middagje bruut geweld. Zij zette weer een overtuigend, vet optreden neer. Als afsluiting hadden we Nihilistic geprogrammeerd, de band met de "brute" zanger @.@.P. Wat een show! @.@.P had weer een of ander gek kostuum uit z'n voddenkast gehaald, met een SM masker op en een Cape in de vorm van de Nederlands vlag stond hij daar. Een potje vette grind metal met zware gitaren knalden door de speakers van Odeon. Ze hadden genoeg eigen aanhang mee die zorgden voor een bruut beukpartijtje beneden hen. Een en al feest, een geslaagde na middag !!

Op de website kunnen jullie foto's zien van het metalfeestje. Hier is ook onze banner te zien die we de eerste keer achter het podium hebben gebruikt. Gaat dat zien !!
Volgende maand hopen we jullie meer te vertellen over de tour van September, wij gaan er in iedcer geval druk mee aan de slag!!

Iedereen bedankt die is komen kijken de 28 ste. Onze excuses aan de Duitse aanhang, we moesten eerder beginnen, jammer dat jullie het gemist hebben!! Peer: En een speciale dank aan mijn vrouw en mijn zoontje (4 jaar) dat jullie erbij waren, Niels, you rule!!

We hopen jullie allemaal terug te zien tijdens onze tour. Hieronder alvast de eerste data die zijn bevestigt.

Newsletter June/July 2006 UK

Dear People,

With the Festival season, the good weather going on, it's only a Few more rehearsals until our Summer break. End of season, even musicians need a break some time.But no worries, the new season will have a good start. Again there is lots to do, because from 2 until 10 September we will go on tour!!!!
Together with belgian bands A Switch Below and Blackdown and with the UK band Bring out your Dead we will do the COALITION TOUR 2006. In this period we will tour Belgium and Hollandlooking for al the Metalcore/Death metal freaks out there!!!! Reason enough to really get to work, our setlist will look very simular to the one we played in Odeon, maybe one or two new songs, for the ones who missed it: The setlist.

A short description of the 28th, first of all it was nice seeing Marc Camps, our old guitarist again.
Ok, there were some technical difficulties in Odeon, Richard could not hear us over his Monitor, and the sound "technician" could not solve it. So we were forced to skip our version of Slayer's Rain in blood and Seasons in the Abyss. But next time they will be in, so be prepared!!! A Switch below kicked of the afternoon, and i must say they really rocked again!!! Headliner was Nihilistic , @@p's New band. What a Show! @.@.P found another "freaky" outfit to wear. Wearing some kind of S&M mask and a Dutch flag as a capehe stood there and did his thing as he always does, Magnificent!!!!Odeons speakers were roaring!!!! Lots of Pits, nobody hurt luckely!!

On the web-site you can see the pictures of this lovely afternoon, also you can see our Banner, wich was displayed for the first time. More about the tour next month we are ready to kick ass, and we hope you are too!!!!

Everybody who was there the 28th thanx for being there, we do it all for you!!!! Peer: Sorry to the guys from Germany, we didn't mean to start earlier, and special thanx to my wife and son of 4 for being there, Niels you rule!! We hope to see you on the tour.Here are the already confirmed dates:
